The NBA Shooting Stars Competition is a contest held during the NBA All-Star Weekend. Teams are comprised of a retired NBA player, a current NBA player and a WNBA player representing their city in a shooting competition.
The Detroit team won the 2009 NBA Shooting Stars Competition on February 14, at the U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona. They defeated the Los Angeles, Phoenix and defending champion San Antonio teams with a time of 58.4 seconds.The Sports Network: Detroit wins Shooting Stars (February 13, 2009)
