The NBA All-Star Game is an annual exhibition matching the league's best players from the Eastern Conference against the best players from the Western Conference.
The 2009 NBA All-Star Game was played on February 15, 2009, at the U.S Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona. The Western Conference won the game 146 to 119. Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal, former teammates on the Los Angeles Lakers, were named co-MVP's. It was the third All-Star MVP award for each.
