Early Life
Nazr Tahiru Mohammed was born in Chicago, Illinois, on September 5, 1977 and he went on to attend Kenwood High School. He continued his education at the University of Kentucky. In 1998, Mohammad was selected by the Utah Jazz with the twenty-ninth pick in the NBA draft.Basketball-Reference.com: Nazr MohammedPro Career
After the draft, the Jazz traded Mohammed to the Philadelphia 76ers. Throughout his career Mohammed has played for several franchises including: the Atlanta Hawks, New York Knicks, San Antonio Spurs, Detroit Pistons and the Charlotte Bobcats.
