  • National Honey Bee Awareness Day was designated in the United States by the USDA as August 22nd. National Honey Bee Awareness Day is a grass roots effort to improve the social acuity in the areas of Colony Collapse Disorder and the use of chemicals or pesticides in modern commercial agriculture as they harmfully effect the primary source of commercial pollination, honey bees.
