Nate Robinson became a three-time NBA Slam Dunk champion on February 13, 2010 at Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. This page will provide videos of Robinson's slam dunk attempts in the 2010 NBA Slam Dunk Contest. Robinson took 51% of the votes against competitor DeMar DeRozan. Robinson included the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders on the court with him while performing in the dunk-off but did not utilize them in the actual dunk.
Robinson plays guard for the New York Knicks of the NBA. Despite his small stature, he has previously won the Slam Dunk title in 2006 and 2009.
In the 2006 edition, he defeated Andre Iguodala, Hakim Warrick, and Josh Smith. His signature moment was leaping over previous champion Spud Webb and then dunking the ball to win. Robinson finished runner-up to Gerald Green in 2007, and then did not participate in 2008.
But in 2009, he returned and defeated then defending champion Dwight Howard as well as other competitors J.R. Smith and Rudy Fernandez. Robinson captured his second title when he dunked over Howard, who was wearing the Superman cape that he wore to win the 2008 title.
Nate Robinson wins 2nd Slam Dunk Title
