    Running off the momentum from its hit single "These Words," Bedingfield's first album, Unwritten, climbed to the Top 30 of the U.S. Billboard 200. The single's success was later bested by the title track follow-up, which was featured in Pantene commercials and films like Ice Princess and The Da Vinci Code.

    In 2007, Bedingfield released her sophomore album, N.B., in theUK, which was met with mixed reviews despite decent chart performance. Several of the album's tracks were compiled with a few new ones for her North American release, Pocketful of Sunshine, which again faced mixed reviews.
