  • Nassau is the capital of the Bahamas, as well as their largest city. The city offers accommodations in pretty much every price range; from the high-end lodging of the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island to the much smaller inns throughout the city.
  • Luxury Hotels

The Atlantis on Paradise Island is the most popular and well-rated resort in Nassau. The resort is made up of a numerous amount of lodging options, the Beach Towers probably being the least costly. They are located away from the casino and nightlife on the island, making it a wise choice for families traveling with children. Most of the rooms have amenities such as air conditioning, satellite television and 24-hour room service. The more expensive suites are equipped with many more options, such as jetted tubs and private balconies.

There is so much to do at the Atlantis, it's like a vacation in itself. There is a large casino, many dining choices, ranging from casual to fine-dining, a fitness center, nightclub, spa and of course, shopping. For children, there are varies activities that cater just towards them. The Atlantic Kids Club offers kids in different age groups fun activities and adventures, as well as a special kids pool made shallow enough for young ones to have fun while staying safe.

  • Affordable Hotels

Well-rated, affordable hotels are hard to find, but not impossible. The Grand Central is one that offers basic guestrooms as well as basic amenities. Rates start at just under $100 USD in both the guesthouse and main building; many rooms even have private balconies overlooking the area below. The location really can't be beat for the low prices; right in the downtown district of Nassau, close to all the shopping and restaurants the city has to offer. While there, be sure to check out the Atlantis resort and all they have to offer, only a few minutes away by taxi.
