As with all Xbox 360 games, players can earn points based on achieving certain tasks in NASCAR 09. There are about 35 tasks that can be achieved, ranging from recording a lap in test mode, to winning a race after starting in the 12th position. Background
NASCAR 09 is a stock-car racing game featuring drivers in the NASCAR circuit. It is the 12th game in the racing game series, and the follow-up from last year's NASCAR 08. Three-time Daytona 500 champion Jeff Gordon is the cover athlete. However, there are two vehicles on the cover: Gordon's No. 24 car, as well as the No. 88 car driven by Dale Earnhardt Jr. The PlayStation 2 version of the game was produced in North Carolina, with the next-generation versions produced at EA Tiburon in Los Angeles County, California. -
