Napoleon Dynamite

Napoleon Dynamite is a dry comedy from director Jared Hess that follows the trials and tribulations of a small town outcast named Napoleon Dynamite (played by Jon Heder). Released in 2004, the movies centers on Napoleon's relationship with a newly transferred student named Pedro Sanchez, as well as Pedro's attempt to become the student class president. Debuting at the Sundance Film Festival, the movie went on to become a sleeper hit - taking in over $40 million and has since developed a "Cult" status due to its wealth of catchphrases and the unusual nature of its comedic situations.
