  • Naomi Wolf is a feminist social critic and author. She currently maintains a blog on The Huffington Post and since 2007 has been speaking openly of her belief that the United States is tending towards becoming a fascist police state. In a September 2008 entry on her Huffington Post blog, Wolf said that Sarah Palin was the "designated muse of the coming American police state."

    In Wolf's best-selling 1990 feminist treatise on women and beauty, The Beauty Myth, Wolf argued that female beauty was a socially constructed quality determined by those in power. Her books Promiscuity and Misconception discussed adolescent sexuality and pregnany respectively, while her 2007 book The End of America laid out her argument that American democracy was disappearing in the face of an advancing fascist police state.
