• Myst is a classic 1993 Puzzle game created by Robyn and Rand Miller and developed by Cyan Worlds. The game was originally released for Macintosh computers and then ported to the PC in 1995 and several other platforms in later years. Myst was the bestselling computer game of the 1990s, driven by its compelling gameplay and unique art direction, which merged classic images of technology and nature into an original aesthetic style.
  • Story and Gameplay

    Myst puts you in the role of an individual referred to as “Stranger,” who uses a magical book to travel to the land of Myst. Inside the library on Myst island, you encounter two individuals trapped inside books, named Sirrus and Achenar. The two are brothers, and request that you find missing pages to their respective books, hidden throughout four different worlds around Myst. The four surrounding worlds are called “Ages:” Channelwood, Stoneship, Selenitic and Mechanical. To progress the game you travel around the island, going to the various Ages, solving complex puzzles and bringing the pages back to the brothers on Myst island.
