My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem

  • My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem is a tell-all book written by the rapper's mother Debbie Nelson (and co-authored by British writer Annette Witheridge). The controversial book is reported to dispel many of the myths surrounding the childhood of grammy-winning rap artist Eminem (also known as Marshall Mathers) - as well as Mather's lifelong battle with depression.
  • Update:

On April 7, 2008, Debbie Nelson was sued in Oakland County Circuit Court by a man named Neal Alpert who claims that Nelson entered into a contract for him to act as her agent. The lawsuit seeks 25% of the gross profits from the book (which is estimated to have sold over 100,000 copies in the U.K. since its release).
