Career Overview
Jim James serves as the band's main singer, songwriter and guitarist. He formed the band along with "Two-Tone" Tommy , J. Glenn and Johnny Quaid, in 1998, and recorded their debut album, The Tennessee Fire the following year.
The band made its major label debut in 2003 with It Still Moves on ATO Records. In 2005, they released their most popular album to date - the critically acclaimed Z - which employed the use of a separate producer for the first time and introduced a more polished sound, ditching the heavy reverb of the group's earlier recordings.
