A Greek American, played by Nia Vardalos who has moved to Greece to find her place in life, finds that her job as tour guide provides few answers and actually more headaches then what she bargained for. One day a tourist, played by Richard Dreyfuss, inspires her to embrace her exotic surroundings and the interesting characters which color her life every day.
