My Chemical Romance is a four piece rock/emo band from New Jersey. After the band formed in 2001, they signed to Eyeball Records and released their debut album I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love. The album was successful in underground music, but wasn't able to appear in the mainstream. In 2004, My Chemical Romance released their second album Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge and received positive response from the mainstream audience. The album sold over one million copies in the United States and was twice certified platinum in Canada.
