Braised Mustard Greens
The following video shows how to make mustard greens. The list of ingredients are a bunch of mustard greens roughly chopped, a package of bacon roughly chopped into bite sized pieces, 3 cloves of garlic coarsely chopped, ¼ cup of golden raisins, ¾ cup of chicken stalk, salt to taste, and freshly ground black pepper to taste. The stems are removed from the mustard green leaves, and then chop into bite sized pieces. Then the garlic and bacon are sauteed together. When bacon is browned, the golden raisins are added to the skillet. Mustard greens are blanched until they are a bright green color. They are removed from the boiling water, and then drained. The blanched mustard greens are added to the bacon, garlic, and raisins. Everything is simmered for about 5 minutes.
