Musiq Soulchild (sometimes known only as Musiq) is a popular Neo Soul and R&B musician from Philadelphia.
Career
In 2000 Musiq Soulchild's platinum debut album Aijuswanaseing included two hit singles, "Just Friends (Sunny)" and "Love", which spent 22 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. His sophomore album, 2002's Juslisen, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Charts and quickly went platinum. By the release of his third album, Soulstar he had established himself as one of the top R&B;/Soul artists of his generation. Musiq took a four year break and came back with a new sound on his 2007 album, Luvanmusiq, to reflect his personal growth and journey. Soulchild's fifth studio album, On My Radio, was released on December 9, 2008.
