Several luxury hotels were targeted in the Mumbai Terrorist Attacks on the evening of November 26, 2008. Terrorists attacked the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel and the Oberoi Hotel as well as several other locations in Mumbai, India. The attackers reportedly asked for British and American guests at the Oberoi. They are believed to be holding at least forty hostages inside the Oberoi, and an unidentified number of hostages inside the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.The Times of India: Terror attacks in Mumbai: 80 dead, over 250 injured Twitter: BNO News: Gunmen have opened fire inside the Marriott Hotel outside Mumbai... Some reports have indicated that the Marriott, the Ramada and the Trident hotels may also have been targets.
