The United States Department of Defense is developing a multi-robot pursuit system. The technology would allow packs of robots to be controlled by a single operator for use in pursuing and capturing human targets. The robots could also be used for tracking, research, and exploration.

Critics fear that the technology would be used irresponsibly, giving life-or-death decisions to machines. Have robots become economical? 1 AnswerI would say so. Just think of the Roomba or Scooba for example. This robotic vacuum or mop will replace an extra person to mop the floor. read more
