Mulled Wine Varieties
- Glogg - Scandinavian and Dutch in origin, glogg is made by heating red wine with cinnamon, cloves and cardamom. Orange peel and brandy are often added as further flavorings.
- Vin Fiert - A Romanian and Moldovan, mulled wine, vin fiert often uses peppercorn or black pepper to add spice to the mixture.
- Quentao - Mulled wine from Brazil, this recipe uses cachaca as its liquor base, spiced with ginger, cloves, cinnamon and lime. If cachaca is not available, rum or vodka can be substituted.
