  • Mukhtar Ahmed was one of the two suspects arrested for aiding the terrorists who attacked Mumbai in November 2008. A senior police official told the Associated Press that Ahmed was a counter-insurgency officer who may have been on an undercover mission.   • SIM Cards

    Ahmed and Tauseef Rehman were accused of supplying the attackers with cell phone SIM cards. Police in India say Rehman bought the SIM cards using fake identifications and sold them to Ahmed. The SIM cards were then used by the gunmen.
