Programming
MSNBC has undergone numerous programming shifts since its creating in 1996, but most recently, the network has focused on political coverage around the 2008 election. David Gregory was most recently added to the lineup in connection with election coverage, replacing Tucker Carlson. Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann are opinionated hosts of their own political commentary shows. Olbermann's opinions have come under fire, and he has been attacked for his liberal "special comments." -
