MRSA Symptoms

  • MRSA is a bacterial staph infection responsible for almost 19,000 deaths in 2005. The infection can most likely be detected colonizing at the nostrils, urinary tract, or in and around an open wound. Symptoms included a red swollen pimple, pus-filled boils, and a possible rash. These infections can lead to amputation of the infected area, or in worse cases, death.
