Leonard Nimoy, the original Mr. Spock was the only actor from the original series to reprise his role in the 2009 J.J. Abrams' film, Star Trek XI. Although the 2009 film is a prequel to the television series, Nimoy plays an older time-traveling Spock while Zachary Quinto plays the young Spock.
