Jeffrey Haynes, whose stage name is Mr. Lif, is a hip-hop rapper from the Boston, Massachusetts area. He is signed with the record label Definitive Jux. His lyrics, videos and live performances are outlets for political and social commentary. Mr.Lif has released several critically acclaimed singles, two albums and two EP's. Since 2005 he has also been a member of the hip-hop group The Perceptionists.
