Mr. Clucky is a celebrity rooster that makes public appearances on television and at events around the Miami, Florida, area.
In July of 2009, the city of Miami Beach sent a summons to his owners trying to evict him from his home. Officials claim his owner Mark Buckley is in violation as code prohibits the stabling of poultry and other livestock in residential areas. Mr. Clucky, his hen girlfriend Wallflower and Buckley reside in a studio apartment on Jefferson Avenue.http://www.miamiherald.com/news/miami-dade/breaking-news/story/1163384.html
He still has a chance, Mr.Clucky can ask the city commissioners for an exception or an appeal. He does bring in large numbers of tourist to the streets of Miami when he struts out and about.
UPDATE: Mr.Clucky lost his first hearing and his owner was ordered to pay a $50 dollar fine and find a new home. His owner is pleading for an exception to the codes as he claims Mr.Clucky is a pet not a farm animal.
