Customer Relations
Movable Type established a reputation for responding to its users in 2004, when it announced on its blog substantial, complicated changes to its software and licensing structure. Nearly 800 scathing comments were posted to the blog, all visible to the public via their TrackBack facility. Instead of shutting down the blog, Movable Type responded by posting a request for constructive criticism and information on how users were putting the software to work. Movable Type released revised licensing terms based on the user response. -
