Mounds History
Mounds could be bought for 5 cents when they were created in 1920. They originally came as a single piece until 1929 when they were sold in packages of two for the same price. During World War II, Peter Paul was faced with shortages of ingredients and focused most of their production efforts on Mounds. Almond Joy bars were later added to the line. -
