The Mototrola SLVR L9, also known as the Motorola L72, is a candy bar style cell phone, successor to the Motorola SLVR. Users have the ability to expand the memory of their device by utilizing a microSD card up to 2 GB. The 2 megapixel digital camera also records video. Users have the ability to send and receive text messages, MMS and EMS or picture messaging. It is compatible with the GSM 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz networks.

The Motorola SLVR L9 has an integrated FM tuner and the music player supports MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, AMR and WAV formats.
