After the initial success of the RAZR V3 cellular phones, Motorola introduced the next level of thin-design efficiency in the summer of 2007 with the Motorola RAZR 2. The battery can hold five hours of talk time in one charge and uses the Linux operating system. Among the features to this second-generation model include a web browser, background noise filtering system and a digital camera. It is available in three models: the V8, the V9, and the V9m.

Multimedia Uses

Smoother to the touch
Among the issues users found with the initial versions of the RAZR were its fragility and lack of feature adaptability and/or inclusion. Those features were tackled in this second model type by Motorola. In addition to attempting to make the phone more durable and the added features listed above, Motorola added EDGE technology capabilities to the phone. The battery life is much longer than the previous models, and there is even a memory slot to allow for add-on functions such as video telephone and voice recognition. -
