Why Do Mosquitoes Always Target Me?

The warmer your body is, the more likely you will attract mosquitoes and get a few bites. You perfume or cologne can be attractive to mosquitoes and they will come around you and start feeding on you.

To keep mosquitoes away from you:

  • Take a shower during the hottest time of the day with plain soap and do not use any perfume
  • One way to keep the mosquitoes away is to try to keep cool and do not wear a lot of heavy perfume during mosquito season.
  • Put a several drop of citronella oil on a handkerchief and carry it with you. Fan it around a few time during your time outside.

A good way to avoid getting bitten by mosquitoes is to know what time they like to eat. most breeds of mosquitoes like to eat early in the day and again at dusk, when the sun is setting.
