Sub-Zero is a character appearing in Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, a fighting game developed by Midway for the Xbox 360 and PS3.

Sub-Zero's Story
Sub-Zero first appeared in the original Mortal Kombat game, which was released on multiple platforms in 1992. In that title, Sub-Zero killed the Shirai Ryu ninja Scorpion, who was later resurrected by the sorceror Quan Chi. Scorpion retaliated against Sub-Zero and killed him, but Sub-Zero's younger brother assumed the name and garb of his fallen sibling. About MK vs. DC
There are 22 characters total in Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, 11 taken from the Mortal Kombat universe and 11 DC heroes. The collision of the two universes is the result of a "cataclysmic event" and each side tells the story from a different point of view, which adds to the game's replayability. In addition to the standard 2v2 multiplayer combat, there is also Kombo Challenge mode, which tests the player's ability to perform increasingly complicated combos.
