Scorpion is a character appearing in Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, a video game developed by Midway for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles.
Scorpion first appeared in the original game of the Mortal Kombat series, which was released in 1992 on multiple platforms. Originally a Shirai Ryu ninja, he was slain by Sub-Zero and later resurrected by Quan Chi. Scorpion avenged his own death by killing Sub-Zero, whose brother quickly moved in to take on the name and style of dress of his fallen sibling. Now Scorpion seeks the death of the new Sub-Zero.Mortal Kombat Warehouse: Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe Scorpion
Fatalities
Each character has a finishing move. Fatalities, a Mortal Kombat trademark known for being a bit gory and over-the-top, have been mellowed down a bit due to DC's insistence on a Teen rating. In fact, Midway made at least three submissions to the ESRB before finally meeting the restrictions for the milder rating.Kotaku: MK vs. DC: The Joker's Fatality Gets T-Rated (October 24, 2008) Some DC heroes were given brutalities, a non-fatal finishing move, if it was deemed more appropriate for their personalities.
