Liu Kang's Story

Liu Kang is a Shaolin fighting monk who first appeared in the original Mortal Kombat game in 1992. He is one of the primary characters of the series and has been a main protagonist of both the Mortal Kombat film and television series.

About MK vs. DC

The story mode in Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe is divided in two. The aftermath of the collision of the worlds is recounted from the point of view of both sides. Single players can also test their skill with Kombo Challenge mode, which requires players to perform increasingly difficult combos for each character in order to unlock achievements.
In addition to the story mode, the game has a standard multiplayer mode in which two players face off against one another, as well as a few twists to add variety. In Klose Kombat mode, a player grabs and begins wailing on his opponent. The buttons he is pressing appear onscreen and his opponenet must press the exact same button in order to escape the onslaught of attacks. Free Fall Kombat takes this same gameplay and launches it into the air. The player grabs his opponent and crashes with him through the wall, at which point the two begin free falling.
