Each character in Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe has a finishing move in the form of either a fatality or a brutality. Fatalities, a Mortal Kombat trademark known for being a little gory and over-the-top, have been mellowed down in order to meet the ESRB's requirements for a Teen rating.
