Baraka's Story
Baraka made his first appearance in Mortal Kombat II, which was released in 1992 for multiple platforms. He is a warrior in the service of Shao Kahn, Emperor of Outworld, and participated in his master's attempted invasion of Earthrealm.About MK vs. DC
The story of Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe was co-written by Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray, both experienced in the comic book and graphic novel industry. The collision of the two worlds is explained by a "cataclysmic force" and the story is recounted from the point of view of both sides.
