Mork and Mindy was a half-hour Science Fiction-based situation comedy that aired from 1978 until 1983 on the ABC television network and starring Robin Williams as an Alien from the planet Ork who comes to live with a human. As a spinoff of the popular television show Happy Days, Mork and Mindy was an immediate hit and helped launch the career of Robin Williams - whose comedic talents allowed him to improvise many of the shows lines.
