Morgan Spurlock is an American actor, producer, and director who is best known for his film Super Size Me and his tv show 30 Days. He received a BFA from the Tisch School of the Arts in 1993 and worked as a playwright before making his Academy Award nominated film Super Size Me, for which he ate three meals from McDonald's, and nothing else, per day, for 30 days. The film has received considerable acclaim and criticism. Critics argue that Spurlock purposely consumed upwards of 6,000 calories per day, far more than is recommended, and that the film does not demonstrate how fast food is intended to fit into a healthy diet. He has also created the TV Show I Bet You Will for MTV and in January, 2008 released a new documentary, Where in the World Is Osama Bin Laden?, at the Sundance Film Festival.
