Morena Baccarin

Morena Baccarin is a Brazilian actress who appeared in the sci-fi television shows Firefly and Stargate SG-1. Media sources reported in early May of 2009 that Baccarin was slated to play the alien leader role of Anna, the manipulative High Commander, the Queen of the Visitors and mother of Lisa, in a remake of the sci-fi series V. The show has been rated by critics as one of the best Sci Fi shows of all time and King Features' entertainment reporter Cindy Elavsky called V "the best new show on television, by far. The special effects are feature-film quality; the writing is intelligent and time-relevant; and the acting is first-rate. The first five minutes alone will hook you for the entire season."
