Mood Fabrics Inc. Is the fabric store that the designers use on the Lifetime Network Fashion design television program, Project Runway.

History of Mood

Mood Designer Fabrics is owned by Eric Sauma and Philip Sauma. They have been active in the family business since they were children and worked with their father. Mood Fabrics has been a designers favorite place to shop and is frequented by designers from Ralph Lauren, Versace, Gardini and other of the most well known and respected European and American designers. Project Runway and Mood

Each year the Project Runway Mentor, Tim Gunn, has taken the designers to Mood First in New York City, New York, and in 2009 season they moved the entire show to to Los Angeles, California. They continued to use Mood Fabrics in the Los Angeles area to provide the fabrics that the designers would use for their creations.

Not just fabrics but all types of sewing notions are carried at both locations of the Mood stores such as buttons, tulle and lace as well as decorative trim.

The new Project Runway has just concluded their latest and we wait for the next season to start and we will see if they have once again teamed up with Mood fabrics. When we tune in to see the designers we will one again be taken into the familiar Mood Fabrics Store.
