Montreal Hotels

Montreal is a predominately French-speaking city in Quebec and the second largest city in Canada. Because of the city's vast size, there are accommodation options in every price range.

Luxury Stay

There are a variety of well-rated, luxury hotels in Montreal. The Conde Nast Traveler Gold List has three listed from the city, the Hotel Le St-James being one great example. Located in Old Montreal, the hotel is only a short walk away from the shopping, restaurants and nightlife of the downtown district. Just a few of the amenities they feature are 24-hour room service, a library, valet parking and an afternoon tea service. The on-site spa is available for guest and visitors alike.

Moderate Stay

Also in Old Montreal, the Auberge Bonaparte is a bit more moderately-priced then the Hotel Le St-James. They are a 4-star, 30-room hotel with prices just under $200 USD for the basic accommodations. They pride themselves in being one of the few lodging establishments that have an in-house restaurant in the Old Montreal district. The hotel itself offers guests basic services such as room service (for a small fee), a continental breakfast, non-smoking rooms and high-speed Internet access.

Affordable Stay

The Hôtel Anne ma soeur Anne is a lower-cost place to stay in Montreal. All 17 of the studio rooms are equipped with a "micro-kitchen," wireless internet and air conditioning; four of the rooms even have a private patio. The location is a plus also; it's only "steps" away from many dining spots, boutiques and bars. If you are searching for more affordable places to sleep in the city, see the Mahalo page on Cheap Hotels in Montreal.
