Monster Trucks are very large pickup trucks with oversized tires, often used in races and exhibitions. In the late 1970's Monster Truck exhibitions started off by crushing cars and has now evolved into circuit racing with obstacle courses and a crowd favorite known as the Free Style event.

- In 1985 USHRA and TNT Motorsports began promoting and racing monster trucks on a regular basis
- The tires on Monster Trucks are 66 inches in diameter
