Monster.com, one of the top leading career websites, aired a Super Bowl XLIII 30-second spot during the two minute warning of the first half. The commercial served to drive viewers to their official website to enter a contest with the NFL and Monster.com to win the title of "Director of Fandemonium". Thirty-two winners were selected among the applicants and flown to New York for a series of interviews. Though it is not a legitimate offer of employment, the prize package includes $100,000 and inclusion in various NFL activities.
The second ad featured by the company is a short sketch, which details the signs that you may not have a job you love and it is time to leave it.
