  • Egyptian entrepeneur and businessman Mohamed Al-Fayed owns Harrods Department Store in London, the Hotel Ritz Paris and the Fulham Football Club, among other businesses. One of the richest men in the world, Al-Fayed is worth an estimated $7.7 billion.

    On February 17, 2009, officials stated that Al-Fayed will not face sexual assault charges related to allegations surrounding a teen age girl. According to previous reports, a 15-year-old girl was kissed by Al-Fayed in his London store.   • Son's Death

    Mohamed Al-Fayed's son, Dodi Al-Fayed, was romantically involved with Princess Diana. The couple were killed in a fatal car crash in Paris, France on August 31, 1997. Since his son's death, Mohamed Al-Fayed has tirelessly tried to prove that both his son and Princes Diana were murdered. He has erected two monuments to the couple at Harrods.
