Moby

Moby is an electronic music artist, DJ and producer who has collaborated with some of the biggest names in popular music. Moby started his career in a hardcore punk band called the Vatican Commandos in the late 80s. The group released one EP before Moby moved onto electronic music. His biggest success was his 1999 album Play, which sold over 9 million copies. Moby was later criticized for licensing most of the albums tracks for commercial use. His follow-up albums, 18, Hotel and Last Night have achieved gold and platinum status in over 30 countries.

Moby is also known for his advocacy work. He has contributed his time to a number of charitable causes and non-profit organizations including The Humane Society, PETA and MoveOn. He is a board member for the Institute for Music and Neurologic Function.
