Mobb Deep, also known as "The Infamous Mobb Deep", are the hip-hop duo of Havoc and Prodigy. The two met while attending the High School of Art and Design in Manhattan, New York. They originally were called the Poetical Profits but later changed their name to Mobb Deep. When they were both 17 they released their first album Juvenile Hell in 1993. In June 2005 the group signed to G-Unit Records.
