  • The FOX Television Network is the national over-the-air affiliated broadcast partner of Major League Baseball. FOX began broadcasting baseball in 1996, and has been the exclusive home of the World Series since 2000. Recently, they renewed their contract to provide live weekly Saturday broadcasts, the MLB All-Star Game, one of the two league championship series, and the World Series through the end of the 2013 season. Before each game, there is a pre-game show hosted by Jeanne Zelasko, featuring analysts Kevin Kennedy, Eric Karros, and Mark Grace. The lead play-by-play announcer for game action is Joe Buck, and the lead analyst is Tim McCarver. Noted baseball writer Ken Rosenthal provides sideline reporting for the main game. Other current announcers include Thom Brennaman and Kenny Albert. TBS will also have a Sunday afternoon game of the week beginning in 2008, and will cover all four of the divisional playoff series match-ups, as well as one of the two league championship series match-ups. ESPN will continue to cover Sunday Night Baseball and two other games (Monday and Wednesday) weekly.
