Mission Hills, San Diego is a neighborhood in the Uptown District of San Diego. The main business streets are University Avenue and Washington Avenue. The area features homes in a bungalow and craftsman style, small independently owned shops, and a unique atmosphere that is not at all suburban. The area is bordered by Mission Valley, Old Town, Midtown, and Hillcrest.

History
Mission Hills was subdivided in 1908 and has been one of San Diego's favorite communities ever since. The area was built up predominantly in the 1950's, and much of the architecture is original from that time. Mission Hills is part of the 92103 zip code. -
