The Miss USA 2008|57th annua was held on April 11, 2008. Fifty-one contestants competed for the crown during the pageant, which will be held at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Donny and Marie Osmond are hosting the event, and celebrity judges include Heather Mills, Joey Fatone and Rob Schneider. Among this year's contestants: Miss Missouri Candice Crawford, sister of actor Chace Crawford, and Miss Nevada Veronica Grabowski, girlfriend of magician Criss Angel.
The Miss USA winner, Crystle Stewart will advance to the Miss Universe Pageant, which will be held in July in Vietnam.
