Miss Kittin

Miss Kittin is an electronica musician and DJ from France. She had recorded and performed with The Hacker, Golden Boy and Felix Da Housecat. Two of her tracks from 2001's First Album with The Hacker, "1982" and "Frank Sinatra," became synonymous with the electroclash scene.

Kittin left her native France in 1996, relocating to Geneva, Switzerland. There, she joined the Mental Groove Record Posse. In the early 2000s, she became associated with such acts Felix da Housecat and Chicks on Speed, becoming an important figure in the emerging electroclash scene.

In 2006, she released Miss Kittin Live at Sonar, a recording of her DJ set at the Sonar festival in Barcelona, and in 2008, she released BatBox, a collection of thirteen original compositions.
